An odd week...but a helpful one!
With only three days (and a TEST on Tuesday [the 1920's to the Great Depression] and New Deal Puzzle Presentations on Wednesday, which should not take the whole period) this will be a work week - NHD is over in ONE WEEK! This is a week to get some things done!
The New Deal, FDR's Alphabet Soup Puzzle Presentation assignment sheet can be located here, in case you lost yours. Remember, I've changed the points (from 50 to 20) and NO WRITE UP - just come ready to present to the class your findings on the New Deal Agency assigned to your table team...
TEST on Tuesday!!!! Be ready to know the FIRST SEVEN PRESIDENTS of the United States (yes, their first and last name as well as the dates of their administration)...
- PRESIDENT'S LIST
- Presidential Rap - it's back!!!!
NO READING THIS WEEK!
NO CURRENTS THIS WEEK
NHD is over next week!
Stay focused and use your time wisely!
- NHD CALENDAR - use this to keep up with the upcoming deadlines!
- The PROCESS PAPER (100 point assignment) is due in THIS WEEK - February 20th:
Process Paper
SAMPLE Process Paper
The assignment we discussed last week is available here, in case you need the RUBRIC or INSTRUCTIONS (if you lost your copy and need to make another one). BE CREATIVE - provide at least TWO MAJOR EVENTS from each President's Administration time period - and HAVE FUN!!!
DUE: Thursday, May 15 -- YOU HAVE PLENTY OF TIME FOR THIS!!!
Is that all we will be tested on the first 7 presidents?
ReplyDeleteNope.
DeleteAs we talked about in class this last week - the test is over the 1920s up to the Great Depression.
But included in that, I do want you to relearn the Presidents - we're staring off with only 7 this time...the remainder of the first 11 is coming up right after NHD is over...so keep learning those dude's names and dates (or just review them again)...
