THIS IS IT!!!

This next week is totally devoted to working on your National History Day project (each of my Social Studies classes will be dedicated to finishing up the final work). That means - only THREE WORKING DAYS LEFT!

The SCHOOL CONTEST will be held in Mr. Johnson's room this Thursday during your classroom time.

TWO TEAMS WILL BE SELECTED FROM EACH CLASS AS FIRST & SECOND WINNERS WHO WILL GO ON TO THE REGIONAL COMPETITION IN KELLOGG (Saturday, March 15th).
More details will come on the REGIONAL, but be aware there is an entry fee of $8.00 for those going onto the next level!

For the FIVE CATEGORIES make sure you use the official NHD grading rubric/checkoff-list that was passed out in class. If you need another form, click below:
This is a 200 point assignment - so be diligent!
CHECK THE RULES for each project type if you have questions on your entry.

DUE DATE: Thursday, February 27, 2014
  •  Your entry must be ready to present by the end of school, Wednesday, February 26, 2014 - you should be able to simply come into class on Thursday and present immediately (You may deliver your project before school on Thursday, February 27 if you make prior arrangements with Mr. Johnson)

WEBSITES must be ready to present on Thursday - the url for your site must be presented to Mr. Johnson no later than the end of school on Wednesday. You will also upload your final website to NHD by the end of Thursday for final approval.
